Konnichiwa minna-san  Nice to meet something like this forum and its project of course. Well, I want to ask something: I am using Media Player Classic to play your mkv. My computer running on XP Pro, Japanese system. When, I play the movie with Chinese subtitle, some of the letter shown as empty box. What happened and what should I do? In opening/ending, I don't see the empty boxes, although some of the characters is in the different font (char #3,#4,#9 in the screen-shot), but in the story I can see many empty boxes. I almost forgot, I almost forgot, I already download the creditless opening, but the auto-link is not working. When I play the mkv, it skips the opening.. Any suggestion? Thank you before. |

Oh my goodness! Hooray! Thank you all very much for taking on this project and completing it! Last time I checked, the last completed episode was no. 35. When I checked back this morning, lo and behold it is complete!!! This anime brings back some good memories...many thanks again for doing this. It is much appreciated.  |

Thanks for finishing up this project. Just finished watching the last episode. Hopefully someone will eventually pick up the manga again, even if I don't have high hope of it happening.

The "definitive" OP2 is indeed 24,649,974 bytes large, and has a checksum of 7438BE63. It's included on the Episode 28 torrent (and accidentally packed in with Episode 35 too). Episodes 28 through 36 are supposed to auto-link to it. I was the one who uploaded the OP2 file to MegaUpload. It seems like someone reported it  The reason for the very many versions of credited openings out there, is because I switched sources twice. - First, I started with AVI raws from eMule. These came with Japanese and Mandarin audio and have a resolution of 640x432.
- Then I tried using higher-quality R2 raws, with Japanese audio, which are 640x480.
- Then finally I got my hands on the actual DVDs and made my own 704x480 rips.
Openings with credits are indeed missing from the batch torrent. This will be rectified in the future, when I convert all prior non-704x480 releases into the same forrmat as episodes 37-52. Obviously when I go this route (which is basically your Option C), an xdelta patch will not be feasible, because video and audio data would have changed. Won't be happening for months though. |

I think you have CRC discrepancies because opening and ending have been reworked many times, maybe zergrinch didn't update CRC on the releases pages everytime, if you want the latest version of them D/L the Torrent for EXTRAS everything you need is in it (your options 2 ) for direct download all the latest have been created by a forum member some could be dead we'll see to it for EP18 i took the releases directly from the private project page, indeed the CRC on the release page is not good, he must have updated the episode one last time before releasing and forgot to update the CRC on the release page (tell me about it had the issue everytime we've released a torrent, poor guy overworked and alone ^^) anyway 539863e6 is the correct CRC but i'll double-check with Zergrinch to be sure it's not an upload issue. I'am letting Zergrinch answer to that when he will have time, thanks for pointing theses out |

First off, thank you very much for your efforts. This truly is an awesome series. Some issues I've noticed include: - From the downloads page:
- The direct download for "OP 2 - Iki mo Dekinai" under "Other Anime-related Clips" is not available.
- The openings with credits are missing from the torrent, hence only 10 of the 13 listed clips are in it.
- From the release notes page:
- A big thank you for providing CRCs!
- Episodes 19-27 auto-link to a version of opening 2 with a CRC of A022CED8, which seems to be unavailable (btw, I still have this version)
- Episodes 28-36 auto-link to a version of opening 2 with a CRC of ED8DAEF4, which seems to be unavailable (btw, I still have this version)
- The release notes page lists a version of opening 2 with a CRC of 7438BE63, which seems to be unavailable (I don't have this version)
- Both the direct download and the torrent for episode 18 have a CRC of 539863E6. This does not match the release notes page CRC of D27FDA1D.
- Just FYI: Episodes 37-52 correctly auto-link to opening 3 with a CRC of EA0D32AD, which is available via direct download.
Regarding how to address these issues (if at all, since this can be a lot of work) - Option 1: Provide all the files for people to handle as they see fit.
- Option 2: Identify "correct clip versions" and provide only those.
- Option 3: In addition to Option 2, update all incorrectly linked episodes to auto-link the correct clips. This will require updating the CRCs for all incorrectly linked episodes, the torrents, and the direct downloads. For people that already have the old versions, this would require re-downloading all the updated files. To ease the pain, an xdelta3 patch can be provided (google). Other groups like #gg have done this in the past for this very reason.
