Noodles Completed! The Decision of Destiny |

Examinees are also judges. Each
person is to grade the others' dishes. First up Che Lin makes 'Squid
Ink Noodles'. Tam and Huang can't stop eating - Mao and Fei spit
it out immediately. Che Lin used a forbidden ingredient. She used
part of what is used to make opium - addictive and too much cause
food poisoning. It was also discovered that Che Lin was the one who
put the needle behind Mao's ear. Bringing shame to the Legendary Cooking
Stadium, she is disqualified and her chef title is taken
away. Tam presents his 'Cat's Ear Noodles'
using your thumb to shape the noodles. No one tried it. Tam used
wheat flour therefore making ordinary noodles in a different shape.
Tam is told to try again next time. Huang sliced beef into thin
noodle-like pieces. Mao and Fei praised it. Fei's noodles are made
of potato with a cold soup. Mao decifered that Fei also added
pumpkin. Mao praised the dish but Huang just thought to himself. Mao's
noodles are surprisingly firm. How did he overcome this? Mao filled
each piece with dried squid strips completing his 'Seafood noodles'.
Now the three must grade each other from 1-10. Huang has 10 but Mao
and Fei only had 9 points each.

Huang is called forward. As his mark is the highest he is convinced that he won the Super Chef title.
Reika tells Huang to pack up and try again in four years. She explains that since he gave Mao and Fei only one point each he was lying to himself. A true chef
needs to be able to fairly judge another. After a little outburst, Huang
apologizes. He packs up and tells Mao and Fei that they truly
made outstanding dishes. Huang admits total defeat but will work hard to try again. The last task is for Mao and Fei to grade their own dishes.
Both gave themselves 10. They both did their best and felt their dish deserved the highest mark. Which one will
Reika appoint?
This test was to rate their pride as chefs. Being on the same great level of skill and creativity,
Reika said that this one time she would break the rules and reward both of them the title of Super Chef. Mao and Fei vow to compete again. After returning to the restaurant,
Admiral Lee again appears. He came to officially make Mao the head of Kikkaro. Mao declines and says that he would like to travel and improve his cooking. At hearing this
Mei Li cries and runs off. Mao boards his boat and says his goodbyes.
Mei Li is not there but she had her father give Mao a headpiece and letter. As Mao reads the letter on the departing boat, he cries and really starts to miss
Mei Li. Mao gets a
handkerchief from...Mei Li! She decided to travel along with Mao.

Their journey begins by going to
Chujing village to find Master Kayu, an aquaintance of Choyu. Upon arrival, Mao and Company are greeted by a beautiful woman - Anri. It turns out that Master Kayu created the famous
'Dream Singe Cuisine' but never passed on the secret before his death. Singe Cuisine is when rice is fried to be hard then a soup or sauce is poured over it. The sizzling rice and sweet smell make it more than just tasty. Now Anri asks that Mao figure out how to use the utensils her grandfather Kayu left.
Mei Li is enraged as Mao is seduced by Anri and being so blind to her plan of using him.
Mei Li leaves. Governor Lein tried Kayu's dish 30 years ago and is looking forward to trying it again. If Anri cannot recreate this dish it may ruin the restaurant's reputation. Therefore, if the Super Chef cannot do it then perhaps Anri will be let off the hook. Anri is surprised to find that Mao actually figured out how to use the device. She puts sleeping additives in Mao and Shilou's tea.
Mei Li finds the next morning Anri telling the governor that SHE figured out the secret. We are left with a scene of Mao and Shilou being tied up in some dark room...

Anri creates a huge hardened rice ball. Everything looks just the same to
Governor Lein as it did the time with Master Kayu. Then Anri poured the second dish on top and that was not the same. Mao and Sanche get free from the shed after being stung by several bees and scolded by
Mei Li. Mao requests to make the dish again. Mao does the same things as Anri with one difference - the soup is inside the rice ball. When the pressure builds up, the ball spins and the steam makes it explode and allows the soup to leak out. This was the revived
'Dream Singe Cuisine'. Anri asks why Mao tried to make something that disappeared for 30 years and that he never even tried. Mao said he did not want the famous dish to only be a legend.
Admiral Lee praises Mao but Anri tells him that he is actually not an employee of the restaurant but rather the youngest ever Super Chef. Anri realizes that she lost her passion for cooking but is now intent on improving, thanks to Mao. She kisses Mao and the cheek as a 'thank you' and
Mei Li has a fit.

Shilou and Mei Li get separated from Mao. We see them lost in a dark, spooky forest and a foggy graveyard. They finally meet up with Mao
at a large mansion and they are greeted by the owners of the house, Mr. and Mrs. Wu. They ask them if they would like to eat dinner with them. As they walk to the dining room, the three guests hear a woman's moaning. A gloomy figure in the back later turns out to be the roaming chef, Gien, who is now the chef of the house. Mr. and Mrs. Wu do not eat but wait like zombies for the mysterious 'Red Congee'.
Congee is a thick rice soup. Mao senses something is wrong and tells
Mei Li and Shilou to only pretend to eat it. A ghost-like figure approaches them as they search for clues in the dark kitchen. It turns out that the daughter, Ran, had locked herself in her room for the past week to escape the addiction to the 'Red Congee'. They used to be a happy, wealthy family.
Six months later her and her parents are addicted to this congee Gien makes. Gien tells Mr. Wu he will only get more congee if he signs a document giving all the wealth to Gien. The next morning Mao makes a
'Five Color Rainbow Congee' to thank the family for letting them stay the night. The ingredients used (red-red herb, green-string beans, orange-pumpkin, white-pine nuts, yellow-logan) cleared all the poison from the Wu family. Gien had been using the 'Red Demon Mushroom' that has effects similar to any addictive drug. Gien is arrested. The Wu family can live happily again. Mao,
Mei Li and Shilou depart on their journey again.
